A Letter To Chicago Elementary & Middle School Counselors

Dear Counselor,

If you’re visiting this page, it means you’re really doing your homework on Chicago school assembly presenters. You care deeply about your students. As the father of two elementary age students, I’m on your side.

I want to see children grow up with the tools and strategies they need to succeed in life. And those tools include how they feel about themselves. To grow up as healthy individuals, you already know how important confidence and morals are for children. It sets them on the right path.

And that’s why you’re on this page.

You’re wondering how my programs benefit children. Are they mindless fluff? Boring lectures? Nope and nope. I’m proud to say that my programs walk the line between education and entertainment.

Balancing Education With Fun

As you’ve read elsewhere on this site, school assemblies need to be both educational and fun. Too much education and kids start to tune you out. Too little, and while the kids may have fun, you and your teachers are gnashing your teeth, frustrated with the lack of quality information.

In short, most primary, elementary, or middle school assemblies in the Chicago area are a complete waste of time.

I consider it a matter of pride that my educational programs are not like the others.

After the program, your teachers will thank YOU for bringing me in. They’ll tell you things like, “That was so much fun! And he covers what we teach in the classroom!” And while you might believe me for primary or elementary school assembly programs, I’ll bet you are skeptical of performing for middle schools.

I’ll let you in on a secret.

I Do Great Middle School Assemblies, Too

Many elementary school assembly pros shriek in horror at the thought of performing for middle and junior high school students. They don’t ‘get’ them. They don’t take the time to study child development. They don’t understand how the mental processes of older kids change.

So they try to do the same show as they do for primary or elementary grade students. They deliver their scripted lines the same way. They use the same jokes and try to relate to the students in the same way. And when they fail, they stop offering middle and junior high school assembly programs.

Me? I love performing for middle school and junior high students.

I relate to them on their level. I can expand upon my messages and concepts. I can give them detailed information. Teachers love this. And so do the kids.

Here’s the thing. Even after reading all of this, you still have to ‘sell’ this to your school’s decision-makers. (Unless you are the decision maker.) You might wonder how easy my programs are to host.

School Assemblies That Set Up Fast… And Break Down Even Faster

Many school assembly performers in Chicago make a big deal out of the stuff they bring. But all of that stuff has to be set up. And that takes time. Time from the regular schedule in your cafeteria, gym, or wherever you are hosting my programs.

Here’s a detail that is sure to make you smile. My shows are set up in fewer than 15 minutes. After the show, I’m packed up and ready to leave in fewer than five minutes. No headaches, no hassle, no scrambling to clear the area for the next group.

I hope this special page has allayed any concerns about bringing my programs to your school. If there is any area I have not covered, kindly fill out the Contact Form on this page. I’ll respond personally, ASAP.

I look forward to working with you.
